X-Booms match industry standards for gradeability, platform height and outreach, drive speed and four-wheel drive capability, but hydraulic outriggers have replaced the heavy counterweights found on conventional self-propelled machines. This makes the X-Booms lighter and less expensive than other self-propelled booms on the market, according to Brent Hagedorn, Director of Marketing at Bil-Jax. Initial Delivery includes two models, the 36XT and the 45XA, which feature hydraulic lift systems identical to the popular trailer-mounted Summit Series 3632T and 4527A, respectively. Patent-pending technology provides the X-Booms with industry-leading leveling capability and allows users to set up and begin operation in under 30 seconds. |
